Engine Performance
Today the use of engine management systems and electronic actuators and sensors to control engine performance means auto
technician's need to understand electronics and computerized diagnostic testing. Students gain the knowledge and skills
needed to work on engines equipped with on-board diagnostics and computerized engine control units. Virtual simulations and computer-inserted faults in real vehicles are used to help students develop the diagnostic skills that are highly valued
